Karachi attack: Officials suspect neighboring country’s involvement

A recent investigation into the attack on foreign nationals in Karachi’s Landhi’s Mansehra Colony has revealed shocking details, hinting at possible involvement from a neighboring country.

According to Raja Umar Khattab, head of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), initial findings suggest a separatist organization’s role in the suicide attack. It’s believed that a group of three to five terrorists, including one suicide bomber, carried out the attack.

Investigative sources say the slain terrorist, Sohail Ahmed, came from Panjgur, Balochistan. He and an accomplice arrived on a motorcycle and waited before launching the attack.

The investigation indicates that neighboring countries fund separatist groups, and the terrorists conducted a two-week reconnaissance before the attack. They were seen waiting near the target area in suicide vests.

Footage shows the terrorists parking the motorcycle and waiting for the target vehicle. When it slowed down at a speed breaker, one of them detonated the bomb.

The targeted foreigners were in three vehicles, all of which remained safe. The attackers had likely been observing the area for weeks before the attack, showing careful planning.

Despite security efforts, the attackers escaped. A mobile phone found with a deceased terrorist is being analyzed.

The motorcycle used was registered to Salman Masih, raising questions about accomplices.

Authorities are intensifying efforts to gather more details and catch those responsible. This incident highlights the serious threat of terrorism and the need for stronger security measures.
