Karachi Inter Board announces 2026 General Science Group results

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the annual examinations for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part-II General Science Group for 2026.

According to Chairman BIEK Faqir Muhammad Lakho, Concordia College Gulshan-e-Hadeed Campus student Jannat bint Ali Dost, roll number 625716, secured first position by obtaining 1,005 marks out of 1,100 with an A-1 grade.

Adamjee Government Science College student Hamza Shakeel, son of Shakeel Ahmed, roll number 605596, secured second position with 1,003 marks and an A-1 grade.

The third position was secured by Bahria College, M.T. Khan Road student Laiba Zulfiqar, daughter of Zulfiqar Ali, roll number 619907, who obtained 989 marks with an A-1 grade.

Chairman Lakho praised Adamjee Government Science College for its strong performance in this year’s examinations. He noted that after securing the first, second and third positions in the Pre-Engineering group, the college also achieved second position in the General Science Group.

He said the success reflected the hard work, dedication and effective guidance provided by the students, teachers and principal of the institution.

Lakho further said that the outstanding performance of students from government educational institutions in the intermediate examinations demonstrated that the standard of education in Sindh was continuously improving.

Controller of Examinations Zareena Rashid said 18,913 candidates had registered for the General Science Group examinations, while 18,591 appeared in the exams. Of these, 10,511 candidates were declared successful.

The overall pass percentage stood at 56.54%.

According to the results, 748 candidates secured A-1 grade, 2,193 obtained A grade, 3,184 secured B grade, 3,076 received C grade, 1,280 obtained D grade, while 20 candidates passed with an E grade.
