Michael Clarke joins PSL 2023 commentary panel

Former Australian cricketer Michael Clarke was offered a position as a commentator for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after a video of him arguing with his fiancée went viral.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided not to give Clarke the Border Gavaskar Trophy gig as a result of the event.

Australia’s 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup champion, Clarke, expressed his excitement for the wonderful opportunity.

You should see the international players they have, remarked Clarke, who was asked to commentate on the Pakistan Premier League (PSL).

Clarke has expressed regret for his actions and is now concentrating on his profession as a commentator.

“I’m saddened beyond belief that I placed people in this position that I hold in the highest respect. I did things that were nothing short of humiliating and unpleasant that led to this altercation. I am the only one at fault and I completely own this,” Clarke declared.

He will offer the audience his professional judgment and views throughout the PSL, which starts on February 13.

Clarke lost a $150,000 contract as a result of the BCCI’s decision to remove him from the commentary team. However, the PCB has made him an offer for a contract for the 2018 PSL.
