Nationalist parties stage protest in Thatta

Nationalist leaders and their supporters led by Riaz Chandio Nawaz Shah Bhaidai converged at a section of the main national Highway on Wednesday to protest against the settlement of aliens mainly Afghan nationals and the failure of the government to deport them.

They termed the efforts of the Government to expel foreign citizens “dissatisfactory”. Different governments for the sake of their Interests gave room to nonnatives in Sindh who over the years have been usurping the rights of the people of Sindh.

Riaz Chandio while addressing a mammoth gathering at National Highway claimed that around 5 million Afghan nationals were still living in Sindh and they were involved in heinous crimes.

“The Afghan nationals are involved in trafficking of arms and contraband narcotics substances” adding that they were playing with the future of Sindh.

The nationalist leader accused PPP leadership mainly former President Asif Ali Zardari of patronizing robber gangs that have played havoc in the riverine areas of northern Sindh.

Nawaz Shah Badai said that upcoming elections were fixed and the fate of Sindh was not going to change.

Unemployment has been inflicted on Sindh youth by PPP rulers and rampant corruption is the gift of rulers to Sindh. He urged the people of Sindh to participate in a mega protest scheduled on November 26 in Hyderabad.
