Nida Dar shines as Pakistan women’s team beats India in Asia Cup

Pakistan team defeated India by a score of 13 runs in the Women’s Asia Cup

On Friday, Pakistan defeated their arch-rivals India for the third time in T20 cricket history.

Nida Dar helped the Pakistan team win by scoring a fifty and taking two wickets at critical moments of the game.

While chasing a target of 137 runs, the Indian team could only manage 124 runs prior to getting bowled out in the 20th over.

Pakistan now stands at the second spot in group points followed by India, who is still leading because of a better run rate.

Following their victory, Pakistan’s captain Bismah Maroof stated that the match was important after their defeat in the previous match.

“We did a great job of executing the plan… All we wanted to do was intentionally take chances. For us, Nida contributed a critical inning,” she said.

The Pakistani captain claimed that they successfully read the conditions today and carried out their plans.

The captain of the Indian team Harmanpreet Kaur praised Pakistan for playing excellent cricket and winning the match.

Earlier, Pakistan’s men’s team also won the first game of the T20I tri-nation series by 21 runs after reaching 167-5 while batting first.
