No damage reported, business as usual after Israeli airstrikes on Tehran

Iran’s ISNA news agency reported that morning explosions heard in Isfahan were attributed to “air defense activity” over the city, according to an unnamed senior military official.

The commander mentioned that the military engaged with “suspicious objects” in the area, with no accidents or damage reported as a result of the explosions.

Earlier, there were reports of multiple “mini quadcopters” being shot down near Isfahan. Mohammad Marandi, a political and security analyst at the University of Tehran, indicated uncertainty regarding the significance of the events, stating, “It’s still unclear if anything important has happened.”

“There may have been three quadcopters downed near Isfahan, but everything seems to be normal,” he added, referring to social media reports from residents affirming that the situation in Isfahan is stable.

Regarding potential future actions, Marandi mentioned Iran’s stance that any further aggression from Israel would result in a stronger and more immediate response compared to previous instances.

This news comes after Iran’s firing of more than 300 drones and missiles against Israel on April 13, citing retaliation for a deadly strike on its consulate building in Damascus on April 1.
