Islamabad – In response to unmet demands, the Oil Tanker Owners Association has announced the suspension of petrol and diesel supply effective immediately.
According to details, the announcement to halt the supply of oil was made by the Oil Tanker Owners Association under the metric system due to the non-fulfillment of tanker filling demands. Supply will remain suspended until the demands are met.
The Oil Tanker Owners Association stated that until the demand for reduced measuring is met, the supply of petrol and diesel will remain suspended. Supply will not be made to Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and all airports.
Furthermore, the Oil Tanker Owners Association emphasized that despite sending notices to the Islamabad administration and PSO authorities regarding the violation of the February 20 agreement, no response was received. It is urged that the demands for filling under the metric system be immediately met.
