Only Imran Khan can decide on protest in Islamabad: Gandapur

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stands firm on his statement regarding the potential protest in Islamabad.

Speaking to the media, CM Gandapur said that only the PTI’s founder has the authority to decide on staging a protest in Islamabad. “We are ready for whatever decision he makes,” he affirmed.

Taking a dig at the Sharifs and Zardaris, the KP CM remarked that they prioritize their own financial interests. “They are currently worried about finding funds when the country is facing financial difficulties,” he remarked.

Responding to inquiries about his brother’s election from the Dera Ismail Khan seat, he clarified, “My brother won the seat based on merit. No other candidate applied for the seat.” He stressed that his brother’s victory was based on merit and not due to familial politics.

In another development, a district and sessions court in Islamabad postponed the indictment of Ali Amin Gandapur in an audio leak case.

Gandapur attended the court hearing today, where the court permitted him to leave after marking his attendance. Furthermore, the court deferred the indictment and adjourned the case until May 25.

In a separate case related to PTI’s ‘Haqiqi Azadi March,’ a local court in Islamabad revoked the arrest warrants issued against Ali Amin Gandapur.
