Overnight Israeli airstrikes on Rafah kills at least 13 children

Overnight airstrikes in southern Rafah resulted in the tragic deaths of 13 children and two women from the same family, as documented by Gaza hospital records.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s proposal for a ground invasion of Rafah has encountered significant international opposition. The military claims this area houses the last remaining Hamas brigades and is where the remaining 133 Israeli captives are believed to be held.

The conflict has led to devastating casualties, with Gaza Health Ministry reports indicating at least 34,049 Palestinians killed and 76,901 wounded since October 7. A significant portion of these casualties, approximately two-thirds, are children and women.
