Pakistan juniors bring silver medals home from Qatar squash championship

At the Qatar Junior Squash Championship in Doha, two Pakistani squash players clinched silver medals, marking a notable achievement.

Abdullah Zaman and Ahmed Ali Naz secured silver medals in the U15 and U11 categories, respectively, after reaching the finals.

Notably, Abdullah’s younger brother, Rayyan Zaman, reached the semi-finals of the U11 event.

Abdullah and Rayyan are the sons of former player Mansoor Zaman and grandsons of the renowned Qamar Zaman.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association expressed their delight over the success of the young players from their region.

They highlighted Abdullah Zaman’s exceptional performance in the Boys Under-15 category, praising his skills and techniques that impressed the audience.

Similarly, they commended Ahmed Ali Naz for his victory in the Boys Under-11 category, noting his agility, quick reflexes, and on-court strategies.

Despite the intense competition from players worldwide, the Pakistani players showcased their talent and proved themselves among the best in their age groups.

The association conveyed their pride in the players’ outstanding performance and extended congratulations for their well-deserved achievements.
