Pakistan, UAE discuss advancing bilateral ties

PM Shehbaz holds extensive talks with UAE crown prince over range of bilateral, regional and international matters

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has held wide-ranging consultations with United Arab Emirates Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on bilateral cooperation and a range of regional and international matters.

The premier discussed these during a meeting with the crown prince in Abu Dhabi after finishing his three-day visit to Saudi Arabia.

PM Shehbaz was warmly welcomed by the crown prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces ahead of their meeting at Royal Palace, Qasr-e Al-Shatie.

The crown prince congratulated PM Shehbaz Sharif on his election as the prime minister of Pakistan and conveyed his best wishes.

PM Shehbaz expressed Pakistan’s resolve to bolster mutually beneficial relations under the leadership of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He also congratulated the UAE leadership and Expo Team on successfully conducting the Dubai World Expo 2020. The prime minister also thanked the UAE for its continued support to Pakistan both bilaterally and multilaterally.

The crown prince guaranteed PM Shehbaz Sharif regarding strengthening deeper bilateral fraternal ties in order to benefit future generations. He recognized the productive role played by Pakistanis in the development of the UAE.

Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that Pakistan and the UAE stood with each other through thick and thin and would continue to do so in the future.
