Rana Sanaullah, a senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, has announced that Nawaz Sharif will regain his position as party president, following his previous disqualification and removal under controversial circumstances.
Sanaullah stated that all obstacles to Sharif’s return have been cleared, and he has personally urged Sharif to resume his leadership role.
The party, under Maryam Nawaz’s leadership, is providing relief in Punjab and will continue its development initiatives.
Earlier, a unanimous resolution passed at a PML-N Punjab meeting called for Sharif’s return as party president, citing his 2017 disqualification as a conspiracy.
The resolution also celebrated the party’s recent by-election success, condemned Israeli atrocities against Palestinians, and expressed solidarity with oppressed communities worldwide.
