Pakistan undertakes measures for border management with Iran, says Khawaja Asif

In a meeting with Iranian Ambassador Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam in Islamabad, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring effective border management with Iran. Asif highlighted the deep-rooted brotherly relations between the two nations based on shared religious and cultural ties.

Moghadam expressed optimism about expanding cooperation, particularly in the defense and power sectors. Discussions also touched upon matters relating to the anticipated visit of the Iranian president to Pakistan.

Furthermore, Khawaja Asif reiterated Pakistan’s stance on terrorism, holding Afghanistan accountable for its role in fostering instability. He stressed the necessity of reevaluating border dynamics to address escalating tensions effectively.
