PCB to host dinner for national cricket players in Islamabad

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to host a dinner for national players in Islamabad to acknowledge their recent performance.

The players will report to Islamabad on Friday and start practising at the Pindi Stadium on November 25. An 18-person squad for the Test series against England has been named.

The PCB planned a dinner in celebration of the national cricketers for the T20 World Cup and Asia Cup finals, where the national team performed amazingly.

The Test squad players as well as the members of the white ball cricket team were invited. The dinner’s objective is to thank and recognize the players for their recent performances.

Chairman Ramiz Raja, Captain Babar Azam, and team staff will also be present during the dinner hosted by the cricket board.

According to media reports, diplomats and other prominent figures have also been invited to the dinner.

It should be mentioned that the England cricket squad is scheduled to arrive on November 27 in the morning for the historic three-match Test series against Pakistan beginning on December 1 at the Pindi Stadium.
