Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called an important meeting today to address the security concerns surrounding Chinese citizens.
During today’s meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, issues pertaining to the security of Chinese citizens will be thoroughly reviewed.
The Federal Cabinet meeting scheduled for today has been postponed and rescheduled for March 28, Thursday. Federal ministers, senior military officials, and IGs will participate in the meeting to discuss the law and order situation in the country.
It should be noted that six individuals, including five Chinese engineers, were killed and many others injured in a suicide attack on a Chinese convoy in the Besham area of the Shangla district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
DIG Malakand Muhammad Ali Gandapur stated that the attack appears to be a suicide, and while the investigation is ongoing, it is confirmed that five foreigners were killed in the incident. The vehicle was en route from Islamabad to Kohistan when the tragic incident occurred.
