PM Shehbaz meets Commonwealth, Islamic Solidarity Games medalists

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with the athletes who have won medals for the country in XXII Common Wealth Games and Fifth Islamic Solidarity Games.

The ceremony of giving cash prizes and acknowledging their efforts was conducted at the PM House in Islamabad, according to state media.

The PM congratulated the players for raising the flag of Pakistan. He said that the performance of Pakistani athletes had showed their resolve and love for the country.

He also said that their achievements had showed the struggle and hard work of athletes and their coaches.

Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that hard work always led to fulfillment. He further said that the whole nation was proud of these heroes and the nation congratulated and respected them.

The prime minister hosted the players and athletes who won medals for the country in XXII Common Wealth games and Fifth Islamic Solidarity Games.

During the ceremony, the prime minister also distributed cash prizes among the athletes for showing immense progress.

The PM met with every athlete one by one and congratulated them for their performance.
