PTI organizes nationwide protest against alleged elections Rigging

Today, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is set to stage protests throughout the country, citing allegations of election rigging.

According to reports from various media outlets, sourced from within the party, Tehreek-e-Insaf plans to organize protest demonstrations across different regions, notably including Lahore.

In a parallel development, a spokesperson for PTI has raised accusations against law enforcement, asserting that police personnel are conducting raids on the residences and offices of PTI assembly members and ticket holders in Lahore.

The spokesperson contends that these police operations commenced during the night, purportedly aimed at thwarting protest rallies denouncing alleged rigging in recent by-elections.

It is noteworthy that PTI has called for nationwide protests today, leveling allegations of electoral malpractice during the by-elections held on April 21, as well as asserting claims of “mandate theft” during the general elections.
