PML-N leader confirms action against Buzdar

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary-General Attaullah Tarar on Monday confirmed that the government was all set to file a case against the former chief minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.

While addressing a press conference, Tarar said that the former chief minister plundered the resources of our country ruthlessly and snatched the rights of poor people.

The PML-N leader said that the case would be filed with the anti-corruption establishment and claimed that former prime minister Imran Khan was the ‘facilitator’ of Buzdar in his corruption.

He said that Buzdar would have to give an answer for his corruption and also about all those illegal benefits that Khan had taken from the provincial government. He also accused the friend of former first lady, Farah Gogi, of being involved in “all the corrupt activities”.

“She had no government post but was involved in all of the transfers and postings in Punjab. Buzdar’s assets got doubled during his time in the office. All of these schemes of corruption were planned for Bani Gala,” said Tarar.

He claimed that the reason for Buzdar’s posting at the chief minister’s post was they wanted to have a man who would earn for himself and Bani Gala also.

He said that all the planning of involving Farah Gogi and the first lady in this corruption was done at Bani Gala.
