PML-N to register case against Punjab CM for ‘theft of official record’

PML-N alleges Usman Buzdar shifted official records to unidentified place

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has said that it would get a case registered against Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar for [allegedly] stealing the ‘official record’ of the CM House.

PML-N Punjab Information Secretary Azma Bokhari said in a statement that Usman Buzdar had removed the official record from the Chief Minister House and moved it to an unidentified place.

She questioned why Buzdar had deleted video footage of the Chief Minister’s House if he had not removed the official record. She accused the Punjab chief minister of becoming a billionaire through corruption saying he had made “benami” properties for which he would be held answerable.

However, the Punjab government rejected the allegations leveled against it, terming them rubbish.

Previously, the Punjab government had rejected news that Buzdar had ordered the concerned department to make a summary for increasing the perks and privileges of ‘former’ chief ministers.
