Rare manuscripts exhibition of Holy Quran commences during Ramazan

A remarkable three-day exhibition featuring rare and ancient manuscripts of the Holy Quran was inaugurated at Safa Gold Mall on Wednesday, in celebration of the sacred month of Ramazan.

Dr. Qibla Ayaz, Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CCI), officially commenced the exhibition, which was organized by the Iranian Embassy in collaboration with the Iran-Pakistan Persian Research Center.

Commending this cultural endeavor, Dr. Ayaz underscored the profound significance of the exhibition, highlighting the vibrant participation of individuals as a testament to the enduring friendship between Iran and Pakistan.

He emphasized the pivotal role of the Holy Quran in fostering unity and strengthening the bonds of the global Muslim community.

The exhibition showcases a diverse array of Quranic manuscripts, complemented by exquisite calligraphy panels and artistic creations. These manuscripts, adorned with intricate Nastaliq and Thulth Naskh calligraphy, are embellished with gold accents, vibrant colors, and floral motifs, captivating the audience with their beauty and historical significance.

Among the treasures on display are numerous original Quranic manuscripts, some featuring Persian translations. The presence of copies dating back 800 years serves as a poignant reminder of the esteemed legacy of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, underscoring the reverence accorded to his teachings over centuries.
