Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense arrives Pakistan

Saudi Arabia’s Assistant Defense Minister, Major General Engineer Talal Abdullah Al-Otaibi, has arrived in Pakistan for a significant visit. He was warmly greeted upon his arrival at the airport.

During his visit, he is scheduled to meet with Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir to discuss defense matters, including defense training and the enhancement of defense relations.

Additionally, discussions are expected to cover defense projects and the promotion of military ties between the two countries.

Yesterday, a high-level delegation led by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss investment projects in Pakistan.

The delegation included Saudi Deputy Minister for Investments His Excellency Engineer Ibrahim Bin Yusuf Al-Mubarak, Saudi Minister for Environment, Water Resources, and Agriculture His Excellency Engineer Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fazli, and Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources His Excellency Engineer Bandar Bin Ibrahim Bin Abdullah Al-Kharif, along with other high-ranking Saudi officials and diplomats.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted Pakistan’s vast investment potential and provided suggestions for investment in transmission lines, solar projects, and mining ventures.

Furthermore, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud held discussions with Army Chief General Asim Munir to explore avenues for bilateral cooperation in various fields. The Saudi delegation stressed the enduring and strategic nature of the relationship between the two nations and underscored the importance of further strengthening bilateral ties through various means.
