Khanewal, Tareen Education Foundation (TEF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the District Administration for the upgradation of an IT laboratory and the construction of two new classrooms at the Khanewal Public School and University College (KPSUC). The MoU was signed by the Deputy Commissioner, Mr Waseem Hamid Sindhu and the CEO of TEF, Mr Akbar Khan. The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Revenue (Khanewal), Ms Azubah Azim and the Principal of KPSUC, Professor Hafiz Rashid Saeed Rana, were also present on this occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed gratitude to Mr. Jahangir Khan Tareen for his generous support and conveyed appreciation for TEF’s contribution to promoting quality education in public schools. He hoped that the collaboration between TEF and the District Administration Khanewal would go a long way in demonstrating a new paradigm in IT education in Khanewal.
Mr Akbar Khan said that as part of Mr Jahangir Khan Tareen’s vision, TEF is committed to empowering the youth, especially students from the underprivileged and marginalized segments of our society.
