Stock market sees dip after record high

Karachi- Following a record high, the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a dip today causing investors to incur losses worth millions.

The trading day started on a positive note with the stock exchange registering a record high. However, the day concluded in the negative zone resulting in a decline of 100 points in the Pakistan Stock Exchange index closing at 70,483 points.

It is noteworthy that at the end of the previous trading day, the Pakistan Stock Exchange had closed at its highest level of 70,544 points with a gain of 229 points.

Today, trading in the stock market saw transactions worth Rs. 13,40,30,41,470 involving the trading of 21,98,59,414 shares.
