Istanbul: A renowned actor in Turkey has taken a unique revenge on his school and teachers drawing harsh criticism from the public.
The actor released an image of a demolished school building which he claims to have purchased and subsequently demolished. He stated that during his childhood, he was frequently subjected to physical punishment by his teachers at this school for failing to memorize lessons.
The actor Chaglar Ertugrul known for his roles in several films and dramas including “Resurrection” shared the picture on his Instagram showing himself standing in front of the ruined school building.
Ertugrul stated that this was a primary school where he had studied during his childhood but it was associated with unpleasant memories due to the mistreatment by his teachers. According to him, he took revenge on the teachers who had physically abused him during his time at the school by purchasing and demolishing the school.
However, Ertugrul’s post has sparked a wave of outrage among the public and he has also faced criticism from his Instagram followers where he has more than 3 million followers.
