Taylor and Travis’ birthday celebration revealed

Travis Kelce has opened up about how he marked his first birthday as Taylor Swift’s husband, describing the celebration as simple, enjoyable and centred around good food and football.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end discussed his special day during the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, which he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.

Travis said he spent part of his birthday in New York City, where he enjoyed a meal at Torrisi, one of his favourite restaurants. He also revealed that he got to spend time with Swift during the celebration.

The NFL star said the day became even more memorable after the Chiefs secured a victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. He described the win as the best birthday news he could have received and said it allowed him to head into the bye week with the team holding a 4-0 record.

When Jason asked whether a defeat would have affected his mood, Travis admitted that losing would have put a damper on the occasion.

Despite the celebration, Travis explained that he is not particularly interested in making a big event out of his birthday. He said there was no traditional cake-cutting ceremony.

Instead, the restaurant treated him to a selection of desserts. Travis recalled being served several unusual sweet dishes, including yoghurt and an espresso-based shaved dessert with ice cream and chocolate.

The athlete was more reserved when Jason asked about his birthday presents. Travis chose not to reveal details about the gifts, saying he would rather keep that part of the celebration private.

His comments offered fans a rare glimpse into how he spent the occasion with Swift while keeping the more personal aspects of their celebration away from the public eye.
