Taylor Swift diss track costs Kim Kardashian over 100K followers

Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian has experienced a decline in her Instagram following, losing over 100,000 followers and counting, following her mention in a Taylor Swift track from Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Kardashian’s Instagram account, which previously showed 364.3 million followers, saw a decrease to 363 million shortly after Swift released her song “thanK you aIMee.”

The track apparently addresses the long-standing feud between Kardashian and Swift, with fans interpreting references in the lyrics as aimed at Kardashian.

Notably, the capitalization of the song’s title also points to Kardashian.

Lyrics from the song include lines such as “All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel,” which fans connected to the feud between the two celebrities.

As of now, Kim Kardashian has not commented on the diss track’s impact on her social media following.

The conflict between Kardashian and Swift dates back to 2016 when Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, used derogatory language against Swift in one of his songs, claiming he made her famous.

Kardashian later claimed that Swift had given West permission for the lyrics.

The feud escalated with Kardashian releasing a phone call between Swift and West, leading to backlash against Swift from Kardashian’s fans, who inundated her with snake emojis on social media.

Swift reclaimed the serpent imagery in subsequent performances and in her album “Reputation.”

In Swift’s latest track, she addresses the feud, suggesting a sense of unfairness and expressing her desire for an apology from her “bully.”

She reflects on overcoming the challenges and thriving despite the negativity.

Swift had previously discussed the feud in a 2019 essay, expressing her hope for an apology from those who bullied her but acknowledging her resilience and ability to thrive despite the adversity.
