The man behind Babar Azam’s success

Whatever Pakistan Cricket Team skipper Babar Azam is today, it is not just because of his efforts, as a major factor was in play throughout his cricketing career. That factor was none other than his father – Azam Siddique – who gauged and realised the inner talent and passion of his son. What he did for Babar was beyond his power, strength and ability, because of which Babar Azam is making his parents, country and nation proud today.

With his impressive batting skills throughout his career, he is taking the country and the nation to new heights.

A man always needs the help and support of someone to fulfil his dream and if the one who is helping achieve their dreams or goals is one of their family members, such as a father or a brother or a friend, he would develop quickly to finally achieve their place, status and destination.

Babar’s father used to take him to the cricket academy to play cricket during his childhood days and also accompanied him throughout his struggle to fulfil his dream of becoming a superstar.

In order to make his son’s dream come true, Babar Azam’s father made it his dream, passion and put all his energies to make his son a star.

Sunday night, everyone saw a glimpse of that passion, when Babar’s father saw his son playing an unbeatable innings against arch-rival India in a high voltage clash at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup.

His father was filmed in tears of joy surrounded by fans who were congratulating him after Pakistan registered their first-ever win over India in a World Cup clash. In a video doing rounds on the Internet, Babar’s father, who was at the stadium, can be seen struggling to control his tears of joy.

All that Babar touched turned into gold on Sunday as the Pakistan captain won the toss and chose to field first. He marshaled his troops well on the field as young pace sensation Shaheen Afridi removed the highly rated Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, early in the powerplay and left the team reeling in the powerplay.

Babar was spot on with his bowling changes and Pakistan showcased they were up for the fight with a disciplined effort in the field. Despite a Virat Kohli fifty, India managed just 151/7 in 20 overs.
