Tragic demise of renowned social-media star Ali Hyder Sheedi in road accident

One of Sindh’s renowned social-media stars, Ali Hyder Sheedi, met with a tragic end in a road accident on Sunday. The incident occurred on the main Hyderabad-Tando Allahyar road, where the passenger bus he was traveling in faced a collision, leaving him severely injured.

Emergency services promptly transported him to Civil Hospital Hyderabad, where, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

Ali Hyder Sheedi gained fame throughout Sindh after a viral video brought attention to his unique complaint style, addressing the maltreatment by his maternal uncles to police officials. Following his popularity surge, he delved into performing comic characters and traditional dances of the Sheedi tribe at various festivals and annual Urs events across Sindh.

Despite his online success, the 19-year-old comedian struggled with financial challenges, resorting to laborious work to make ends meet. Even as local fans flocked to Civil Hospital Hyderabad upon learning of his demise, Ali Hyder Sheedi’s journey was marred by economic hardships.

Late Journalist Naseer Nohrio played a pivotal role in promoting Ali Hyder Sheedi through social media, attempting to propel him into mainstream media before succumbing to COVID-19 in 2020.

Expressing profound grief over his untimely death, social media users fondly remembered Ali Hyder for his comedy videos and lamented the society’s failure to nurture a multi-skilled actor. The young comedian, known for his humor and resilience, spent much of his time exploring different cities in Sindh in search of livelihood opportunities.

The body of Ali Hyder Sheedi has been relocated to his native village, Naseer Laghari, situated in the Tando Allahyar district, where he will be laid to rest. The tragic loss of this vibrant talent leaves a void in the world of social media and entertainment.
