West Indies’ Stafanie Taylor wary of Pakistan’s spin bowling ‘challenge’

West Indies all-rounder Stafanie Taylor recently discussed the upcoming series with the media, acknowledging Pakistan’s women cricket team’s formidable spin bowling strength.

Despite recognizing the challenge, Taylor expressed confidence in her team’s experience to counter it effectively.

She emphasized focusing on each bowler individually during play rather than being overwhelmed by the overall spin bowling threat.

Taylor recalled their successful visit to Pakistan in 2021 but stressed that the past results are irrelevant to the upcoming series, approaching it as a fresh challenge for both teams.

The West Indies squad, led by Hayley Matthews, includes players like Shemaine Campbelle, Aaliyah Alleyne, Stafanie Taylor, and others, gearing up for a series comprising three ODIs and five T20Is against Pakistan, all scheduled at the National Bank Cricket Stadium.
