A 12-year-old boy in Jati town of district Sujawal was subjected to sexual assault on Sunday. Sources revealed that the victim Zameer Malah, a third-grade student was kidnapped by three men living near his house some five days back.
Father of the victim made adamant efforts for his son’s recovery but he could not succeed until he returned home on Sunday in a precarious condition.
The ill-fated boy narrating his ordeal to local reporters on Monday said that Sameer Qureshi, Abdullah Qureshi, and Ali Muhammad Qureshi abducted him five days back when he was going to buy snacks from a nearby bakery.
“They took me on motorcycle to a desolate place where they kept subjecting me to sexual assault for around four days,” said the victim.
The boy wailed inconsolably during the news conference at his residence. The Father of the 12-year-old boy said that his son was found by some local people in a semi-unconscious state at Baranabad- Jati road who informed him and he brought his son back.
“As soon as my son regained consciousness he narrated to me the inhuman behavior meted out to him by the accused who belonged to the influential Qureshi family custodian of a famous shrine of district Sujawal,”he said; adding that his son is withering with severe pain and falling unconscious following the trauma he had confronted.
The parents of the victim approached local SHO for lodgment of FIR but no report regarding the incident was registered till the filing of this report. Meanwhile, SSP Sujawal Shehla Qureshi had contacted the family of the victim and ensured swift justice.
