14 soldiers martyred as militants ambush security forces’ vehicles in Gwadar, ISPR

Fourteen Pakistan Army soldiers lost their lives when terrorists ambushed two security forces vehicles in Balochistan’s Gwadar district, according to the military’s media affairs wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The attack occurred as the vehicles were traveling from Pasni to Ormara. A sanitization operation is underway in the area to track down and bring the culprits to justice.

Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani condemned the attack, emphasizing Pakistan’s determination to combat terrorism.

The Interim Balochistan Chief Minister, Ali Mardan Khan Domki, also decried the attack, paying tribute to the soldiers who were killed and offering condolences to their families.

The incident is part of a recent increase in terror activities, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

In September, the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies reported the highest number of monthly militant attacks in almost nine years.
