He emphasized that several major events are scheduled this season and his primary focus is on the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and the World Athletics Ultimate Championship.
After performing Hajj, Arshad Nadeem has resumed training at Punjab Stadium in Lahore under the supervision of coach Salman Iqbal Butt.

He added that a recent throw of more than 92 meters by a Sri Lankan javelin thrower has further motivated him noting that the level of competition has increased and that he must continue working hard in training.
Arshad also expressed gratitude for having the opportunity to perform Hajj at a young age saying he feels fortunate. He said that after completing Hajj, he feels mentally refreshed and lighter and that returning to training feels as though he is picking up exactly where he left off.
Discussing the season ahead, Arshad noted that major events including the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, World Championships and Diamond League competitions are scheduled this year. However, he said his main focus remains on the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and the World Athletics Ultimate Championship for which he is preparing intensively.

The coach added that a final decision regarding which upcoming event Arshad will participate in will be made within the next week. He stressed that the team does not want to rush any decisions as previous haste had contributed to injuries. Given the long season ahead, the priority will be maintaining fitness and proper preparation.
