Babar Azam upbeat about winning T20I series against New Zealand

On Wednesday, Pakistan captain Babar Azam expressed optimism about clinching victory in the ongoing five-match T20I series against New Zealand.

The Kiwis secured their first win in the third game, bringing the series to a 1-1 tie, with the remaining two matches set to be held in Lahore on April 25th and 27th, respectively.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the fourth match, Babar reiterated his commitment to his team’s strategy, stating, “We aim to prioritize what’s best for the team.”

Addressing concerns about injuries to players like Mohammad Rizwan, Babar acknowledged that such setbacks are part of the game, emphasizing that all players are focused on maintaining their fitness.

“I have confidence that all players will deliver strong performances,” he remarked, while emphasizing that the team’s defeat in a match cannot be attributed to any single player.
