Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti unveils institutional reforms

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced plans to implement comprehensive reforms across various institutions in the province.

Speaking to the media following an oath-taking ceremony at the Governor’s House, Bugti emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing grievances in collaboration with the cabinet.

“We are dedicated to ensuring transparency across all sectors. My office is open to everyone. Now is the opportune moment for us to recalibrate our course and stand united. We will tackle Balochistan’s challenges as a cohesive team,” Bugti asserted.

Bugti underscored that enhancing public welfare and fortifying good governance remained paramount objectives for the provincial administration. He assured that ministers would soon be assigned their portfolios to streamline governmental functions.

“Balochistan is currently grappling with numerous challenges, including terrorism, but we have implemented effective strategies to combat it and uphold law and order,” he remarked.

Bugti highlighted ongoing efforts to provide relief in rain-affected districts, emphasizing the province’s proactive stance in addressing natural disasters.

“Our teams are actively engaged in managing the aftermath of recent torrential rains and flooding across Balochistan,” he added, affirming the government’s commitment to swift and efficient disaster response measures.
