Addressing his supporters, Bilawal alleged that the AJK elections were not conducted in a transparent manner. He described the polls as being marred by irregularities and claimed that the electoral process had failed to reflect the true mandate of the people. Despite these allegations, he praised PPP workers and voters for helping the party secure nine seats in the elections.

Bilawal also alleged that seats in Mirpur and Muzaffarabad had been “stolen” from the PPP. He vowed to pursue all available democratic and legal avenues to ensure what he described as the rightful representation of the people. The PPP chairman appealed to voters to support the party’s candidates in the upcoming electoral contests. He specifically urged supporters to back PPP candidates in Muzaffarabad on August 4 and accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of attempting to influence the political process.

Looking ahead, Bilawal announced that he would address a public rally in Bagh on August 10. He said the PPP would continue its political struggle and emphasized that the party would not retreat from the political field. Calling on workers to remain united, he encouraged them to mobilize supporters ahead of the upcoming campaign events.

Meanwhile, Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari responded to Bilawal’s remarks with a sarcastic comment, saying, “Now we are scared—what will happen next?” Her response reflects the continuing exchange of criticism between the ruling coalition and the opposition as political tensions remain high.

Bilawal’s latest statements signal the PPP’s intention to maintain pressure on the federal government while keeping the issue of the AJK elections at the center of its political campaign.
