According to Jamal Siddiqui, the vehicle was being used by his brother, Zaheeruddin. He said his brother had parked the car near a restaurant before going inside to have a meal.
When Zaheeruddin returned after eating, he found that the car was no longer where he had left it. He searched the surrounding area but could not locate the vehicle and subsequently approached the police.
