According to ISPR, the visit focused on high-level diplomatic and military engagements aimed at supporting ongoing mediation efforts in the region.

The Field Marshal met Iran’s top leadership during the visit. His meetings included President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.


Discussions focused on reducing regional tensions. Both sides emphasized the need for de-escalation and continued dialogue. Efforts were directed toward advancing a consultative process already underway.

ISPR stated that the talks were held in a positive and constructive atmosphere. The discussions contributed meaningfully to mediation efforts.
It was also reported that intensive negotiations over the past 24 hours led to encouraging progress toward a possible final understanding.
Iranian leadership appreciated Pakistan’s role. They acknowledged its efforts in promoting dialogue and peaceful resolution of regional issues.
Upon arrival in Iran, the Field Marshal was received by Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni along with senior civil and military officials.
