CJP Qazi Faez Isa affirms no complaints of interference during tenure

Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa has stated that he has not received any complaints of interference during his tenure, emphasizing that such interference is unacceptable.

During a ceremony on Thursday, he mentioned that six judges from the Islamabad High Court had visited him, and issues concerning the judges would be addressed. He clarified, “I have not received any complaints of interference from any judge of the IHC.”

Furthermore, Justice Isa expressed his views on preserving historical buildings in Karachi, suggesting that they should not be demolished. He emphasized the importance of restoring the Sindh High Court (SHC) building to its original condition, noting that cultural heritage reflects the identity of the people.
