Court allows MWM chief, Firdous Shamim to meet Imran

On Friday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted permission to Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) chief Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi to meet former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.

The meeting between the political leaders in jail has been scheduled for Monday. During the hearing, Islamabad High Court Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz considered the petition filed by the MWM chief requesting permission to meet the PTI founder in jail.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, accompanied by his lawyer Iman Mazari, appeared in court. The High Court granted permission for the meeting on Monday and directed the petitioner’s counsel to submit written comments. Justice Saman Rifaat emphasized the need for a permanent solution to the issue once the comments are received.

Additionally, PTI leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi was also granted permission to meet the PTI founder on Monday. The court adjourned the hearing of the case until the following Friday.
