The wedding date of world-famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez has reportedly been revealed. After a long wait, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are finally set to tie the knot.

According to reports, the couple is planning to get married on the Portuguese island of Madeira where Ronaldo was born and raised.

Although neither Ronaldo nor Georgina has officially confirmed the wedding date or venue, British media reports claim that the ceremony is expected to take place on August 8 sparking considerable interest in the sports and entertainment worlds.

According to The Sun, the couple will reportedly hold their wedding ceremony at the historic Funchal Cathedral in the capital of Madeira before hosting a lavish reception at the five-star Savoy Palace Hotel.

Last year, Cristiano Ronaldo got engaged to his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez after dating her for eight years. The 40-year-old Ronaldo proposed to his Spanish partner with an expensive diamond ring which she accepted.

In an Instagram post, Georgina shared a picture of the ring showing her hand placed over Ronaldo’s hand while wearing the large diamond ring.

It is worth mentioning that the love story of world-famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina began eight years ago when Georgina was working at a fashion brand outlet in Madrid. Following their meeting, the couple was first seen together publicly in 2017.

Ronaldo and Georgina have five children, one of whom, a twin passed away in April 2022.

Ronaldo has now become engaged to Georgina and proposed marriage to her leaving their fans eagerly waiting for the couple’s wedding.
