Edward Cullen’s ‘Midnight Sun’ takes center stage on netflix

A treat for all the Team Edward clan: a book series written by Stephenie Meyer with Edward Cullen’s point of view has been given a thumbs up for production as an animated series for Netflix.

Fans of the Twilight series should rejoice at this news, as Netflix has given a positive sign for the making of the animated series based on the book written by the teenager’s favorite novelist, Stephenie Meyer, named Midnight Sun, a love story involving a vampire and a teenage girl named Bella Swan. According to sources, this adaptation will show the perspective of Edward Cullen, offering a spin on the original love story with a narration from Edward’s point of view.

The project, which was initially under production at Lionsgate Television, has since found a home on Netflix. Well-known for her work on hit series like Tell Me Lies and Raised by Wolves, executive producer and writer Sinead Daly, will be involved for this production.
