This isn’t Pruitt’s first public comment about Cyrus. Back in March, she revealed something else. Her 2008 song “Boyfriend” was actually written about Miley.

The lyrics reference a romantic rivalry. They warn that no one would succeed in stealing her boyfriend. At the time, rumours linked Pruitt to Nick Jonas. That relationship was never confirmed. Miley, meanwhile, had dated Jonas between 2006 and 2007.

Together, these comments suggest long-simmering tension. It traces back to their early Disney years. Neither Miley Cyrus nor her team has responded publicly.
