Fighting new variant of Covid

It would be prudent for the government to prevent any Corona emergency from developing in the country. Airports should test all passengers arriving on planes from abroad, especially China, for coronavirus; if positive, the traveler should be confined. Recommendations based on these principles were included in the letter that the Sindh Health Department sent to the (dysfunctional) NCOC regarding the steps to prevent coronavirus, and the urgency of moving forward with them was stressed. It is important to heed the cautious advice of Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Afzal Pechuho to take precautions against the new coronavirus that has spread throughout China but has not yet reached Pakistan. She claims that the country’s economic condition is not one that can be managed the same way as before. In response to inquiries from the media, Ms Pechuho made these remarks during the inauguration of the HD Ward of Pediatric Cardiology, which was constructed in Civil Hospital Karachi under the auspices of Dow Medical College’s Class 97 (Dow 97 Foundation).

As is clear from the provincial minister’s comments, the government is attempting to stop the new variety of Corona from entering Pakistan. It is crucial to take preventative action in this regard right away. We have 200,000 Pfizer vaccination doses available. Those who are over 65 and have had their vaccination for six months will get a Pfizer booster right away. The new vaccination from Pfizer, which was predicted, also works well against the new type. In his speech, Dr Ezra Pechuho stressed the need to make plans for booster vaccinations as well as to add some new measures to the SOPs that have already been adopted.
