Governor Kundi assures full support to resolve Gomal University’s financial crisis

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Acting Vice Chancellor of Gomal University, Professor Dr. Naimatullah Babar, called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi to discuss the university’s worsening financial situation, including the lack of funds for salaries and pension payments.

During the meeting, the Acting Vice Chancellor briefed the Governor on the institution’s financial challenges and their impact on employees and pensioners.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi described Gomal University as a valuable educational asset for the region and expressed deep concern over its financial difficulties. He stressed that all stakeholders must work together to address the crisis and restore the university’s stability.

The Governor emphasized the importance of ensuring respect for faculty members and university staff while resolving their legitimate concerns. He also appreciated the efforts of the Acting Vice Chancellor in tackling the institution’s challenges and assured him of his full cooperation in finding a sustainable solution.
