Husband, servant arrested in Rawalpindi woman’s murder case

Rawalpindi police have arrested a woman’s husband and a domestic servant in connection with her alleged murder in the Lal Kurti area.

Police identified the deceased as Hina Javed. According to officials, her body was recovered from a bathroom at a residence in the area. The first information report (FIR) states that her hands were allegedly tied behind her back.

The FIR has also named the woman’s father-in-law in connection with the case. However, according to the family, he has not yet been arrested and remains at large.

Police have taken Hina Javed’s husband, Faisal Asghar, and domestic servant, Zeeshan, into custody for questioning. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the death and are collecting evidence from the scene.

A case has been registered at Civil Lines Police Station in Rawalpindi. Police said the post-mortem examination report is awaited, which will help determine the exact cause and circumstances of the woman’s death.
