IG Punjab issues order to recruit martyrs’ children in Punjab Police

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Usman Anwar has issued orders for the recruitment of 23 children of police martyrs as junior clerks on a family claim basis.

“In the last year, a total of 134 children of police martyrs were employed based on family claims,” stated IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar.

Continuing his commitment to the welfare of the families of police martyrs, Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has processed all recruitment applications from various districts for the children of police martyrs. According to the details, IG Punjab has ordered the recruitment of 23 children of police martyrs as junior clerks in all districts of the province, including Lahore, this week.

“No recruitment cases against Shaheed claims are pending in Punjab Police at the moment,” emphasized IG Punjab. “In the past year, a total of 134 children of police martyrs were employed on family claims within the police department. Among them, 104 were recruited as junior clerks, 21 as Naib Qasid, and 09 in Class IV positions.”

Dr. Usman Anwar highlighted that children of martyrs employed on a Shaheed family claim basis included 08 from Lahore Police, 04 from Faisalabad Police, and one each from DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Narowal, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Multan, Jhang, Hafizabad, Rajanpur, and Nankana. These children have been recruited by the department on a family claim basis.

Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized, “The debt owed to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation cannot be repaid, and measures for the welfare of their families will continue.”
