Imran Khan changes long march schedule

The march will start from Wazirabab on Nov 9

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has announced that the date of the long march has been postponed by one day and they will come back from Islamabad after taking the date of elections.

A meeting of the senior leadership of PTI was held at Imran’s residence in Zaman Park, Lahore.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that the march will start on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. He said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi will lead the long march on GT Road from Wazirabad while Asad Umar will lead it from Faisalabad.

He also said that the long-march-rally from Faisalabad under Asad Umar will come through Jhang, Sargodha, Mianwali and Layyah and will finally reach Islamabad

PTI Chairman said that they will not come back from Islamabad without getting the election date and the nation was ready to support him. He said that there cannot be any talk with Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif.

Former prime minister said that they stand by the army and they could never imagine going against it. He added that the soldiers of the army performing their duties on borders are like his own children.

Imran reiterated that the long march will achieve the targets.
