Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has been released on bail from jail. He said that people wanted Imran Khan and that should be respected for country’s sake.
Addressing a gathering of PTI supporters outside the jail he asked that if the MNAs of Jhelum and Mianwali were traitors then who was to stand for Pakistan. He said that the relations with Afghanistan had deteriorated.
Fawad said that all efforts were being made to minus Imran Khan. He said that Pakistan’s politics will be nothing without Imran Khan. He said that he had maintained in the court that he had made the statements and stood by that.
He said that they have been trying to tell about the increasing terrorism and deteriorating Afghan relations.
He said that institutions and the people should remain on the same page. He asserted that Imran Khan was the need of Pakistani citizens. He advised the CEC to look into the matter wisely and remove his advisors.
He said that countries prosper only when constitutional values are respected. He said that institutions were respectable for them and that they were not traitors. He asserted that elections were the only solution.
Fawad Chaudhry has thanked the people, his party members and supporters, overseas Pakistanis, bar associations and politicians from other political parties who had supported him and his family during the arrest time.
