Interim charge sheet reveals alleged drug network of Anmol alias Pinky

According to the charge sheet filed before the City Court, the accused, identified as Anmol alias Manza alias Pinky, is facing 21 criminal

KARACHI: An interim charge sheet submitted by the City Investigation Department (CID) in Karachi has revealed fresh details about an alleged drug trafficking network linked to Anmol alias Pinky, claiming she headed an extensive narcotics operation across the city.

According to the charge sheet filed before the City Court, the accused, identified as Anmol alias Manza alias Pinky, is facing 21 criminal cases. The report also names her brother, Nasir, along with Ainullah and Maysar Ali alias Atif, as co-accused in the case.

Investigators stated that Nasir, Ainullah and Maysar Ali were arrested in Akhtar Colony, where authorities allegedly recovered large quantities of hashish and cocaine. During interrogation, Maysar Ali reportedly told investigators that he had been recruited by a man named Amir, who claimed to be working for Pinky.

The investigation further alleges that Amir connected the suspects with Pinky by phone, after which they supplied narcotics across Karachi under her instructions. According to the charge sheet, the drugs were sold at prices ranging between Rs12,000 and Rs15,000 per gram, with the rates allegedly determined by Pinky.

The investigating officer said that following statements made by the arrested suspects, Pinky was questioned in a women’s prison. The report claims she admitted to operating the narcotics network and identified herself as its leader. Based on these alleged disclosures, she was formally arrested in the present case as well.

The charge sheet also states that Nasir confirmed Pinky is his biological sister. Investigators further claimed that she had left her family home after a dispute and moved to Lahore before becoming involved in the alleged criminal network.

The case was originally registered on November 18, 2018, and the interim charge sheet includes the names of 14 prosecution witnesses, including Investigating Officer Inspector Mansoor. The investigation remains ongoing.
