The company stated that its financial resources have been exhausted and that it is no longer possible to continue operations. The final notice said that the decision to suspend operations was taken due to the lack of an uninterrupted fuel supply for the Metro Bus Service.
According to the company, the Punjab Masstransit Authority has failed to resolve the fuel supply issue. VEDA has informed the authorities that it will suspend all Metro Bus operations in Lahore from August 11.
The private company said that it would not be able to continue the service unless the supply of fuel is ensured in accordance with the court order.
